Activities & Attractions
The Pompano Fishing Village caters to families, couples, and thrill seekers with endless land and water activities.
On the Water
You have to get out on the water while you're at The Fishing Village. Rocket through the blue-green water on a jet ski or set off on a paddle board to search for sea life. You can access rental equipment from a couple of nearby outfitters through the complimentary Circuit shuttle service.
Would you believe that you can even surf in South Florida? Children and adults can learn to ride and master the waves through a local surf school.
Pompano Beach Fisher Family Pier
Stretching 900 feet over the Atlantic, the centerpiece of The Fishing Village is the Pompano Beach Fisher Family Pier.
A whimsical masterpiece in design and architecture, the end of the Pier is shaped like a pompano fish, complete with a fisheye hole that’s an open window to spotting sea life below. Perfect for a stroll, there are several sail-like canopies along the Pier to seek shade from the sun.
Fishing is king at the Pier, and anglers can try their luck at snagging prized fish until 10 p.m. Head to the bait shop at the entrance beforehand to get hooked up with a fishing package for the day. The package includes a one-day license, a rod, bucket, bait, a knife, and a towel. You'll also get discounted parking at the Pier Parking Garage, another design standout with its stunning aluminum sails.
Beachfront Promenade
The beachfront promenade offers leisurely and heart-pumping activities for the entire family. Stroll or bike along the scenic walkway or hit the sand for a friendly volleyball game. Families love it here for the green spaces meant for barbecues and picnicking, and kids can run free on a playground and cool off at the splash pad.
