Beach & Pier Fun

Mix exercise with ocean views at the fitness zone by the beachfront promenade, or take over a sandy court for a friendly game of volleyball. Kids can slide, climb, and spin at the playground or cool off by running through the interactive fountains of the nearby splash pad.

All abilities can enjoy the beauty of the beach thanks to six beach wheelchair access points along the shoreline and two adaptive wheelchairs available daily on a first-come, first-served basis.
The fish-shaped Fisher Family Pier is an impressive centerpiece of Pompano Beach meant for sightseeing and fishing. Access is free for those who want to stroll the 900-foot pier to see what anglers are reeling in and to check out the spectacular views. There is a daily fee to fish from the pier.

Water Activities

Pompano Beach offers some of Florida's best scuba diving and snorkeling opportunities. From our shores, you can easily access incredible shore dive sites and boat trips to shipwrecks and marine-rich reefs. Fishing is another favorite pastime, and anglers hoping to snag the big one can book a fishing charter.

Watersports are plentiful, with the chance to rocket through the ocean on jet skis or kiteboards and more relaxing on-the-water activities such as kayaking and paddle boarding. You can even learn to surf in Pompano Beach.
