Take a Swing at These Courses
Pompano Beach Golf Course
Begin a round of golf at any one of the two courses part of the Pompano Beach Golf Course.
The Greg Norman-designed Pines Championship Golf Course offers 18 holes with more than 7,100 yards and is a par 72. The adjacent 18-hole Palms Course features over 6,280 yards and is a par 71. If you need some assistance with your game, you can rent the course’s adaptive golf cart perfect for golfers with mobility challenges or show your government-issued handicapped parking placard or other identifying documentation to receive a flag for your cart which allows you to drive to the fringe of the putting green and to the edge of the teeing ground. More information about the flag program is available here.
After your round of golf, sit down for lunch or dinner at Galuppi’s, a laid-back restaurant overlooking the course. You’ll love this spot’s expansive indoor and open-air seating options, delicious American cuisine, popular Sunday brunch, and live acoustic music Monday through Thursday from 5-8 PM and Friday and Saturday from 4-7 PM. (Holidays excluded.)
Palm Aire Country Club
Another option for golf is at the Palm Aire Country Club, home to three courses with 18 holes each and beautiful greens.
